Nate moved to Bend in January of 2021, from Corvallis, Oregon, and has been in the human resources profession since 2018 after returning from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. At OSU-Cascades, Nate is the HR Support Specialist. 

Outside of work, Nate enjoys spending time with friends, often landing at breweries while trying new food at a variety of restaurants. He also likes to take advantage of being outdoors. Nate loves hiking, fishing, backpacking, biking and exploring the beautiful state on weekends.

Nate sits on the Employee Advisory Council for the Heart of Oregon Corps. He is also an OSU-trained Search Advocate, which is an external search committee member who promotes equity, validity, and diversity in OSU recruitment searches. Nate is also a member of the OSU-Cascades DEI Task Force. 

He is excited to volunteer for OUT Central Oregon and be on the Board to help promote inclusivity and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.
