Phoenix has been a resident of central Oregon since 2016, and loves being a part of this amazing community.  It gives her great satisfaction to contribute to the growth and health of her home city, which she does primarily through her profession as a project manager with the City of Bend and her client-facing work at Saving Grace, where she has been serving in a volunteer role since 2017.  She is very excited to continue working with and advocating for the LGBTQIA2S+ community as a board member of OUT Central Oregon.  

Phoenix is also an author – her first novel, Grading On A Curve, was released in 2022 and she is hard at work on her second.  Her creative work is an opportunity for her to speak out about the subjects closest to her heart, and to help give voice to those who have been silenced for too long. 

Phoenix enjoys spending time with her wonderful friends and family (including the latest addition, an adorable foster kitten!) and soaking up the beauty and peace of this gorgeous area.
