Kathryn hails from a Midwestern upbringing with Wisconsin roots. She has spent her entire adulthood in the Pacific Northwest, residing in Portland, Seattle, and now Bend. She enjoys the access to high desert sunshine and recreational water spots.

Kathryn’s professional background is in health and education, combining both as a professor in physical therapy. The drive for more equitable patient care is the same source of motivation to work with Out Central Oregon to help build and sustain LGBTQIA2S+ community relationships in and among the region. Kathryn has a strong interest in intersectionality and strengths-based practices and she’s excited to learn, grow, and reside beside all y’all.
