How can we make Bend a safe place to live for migrant and other marginalized communities? This educational event brings marginalized and privileged communities together to create pathways for action. A 45-minute panel discussion begins the evening. Following the Q&A discussion, there will be a screening of the film Not In Our Town: Light in the Darkness. After the film, there will be a brief Action Session with refreshments.

As a Welcoming City, City of Bend joins other welcoming communities around the country in celebrating Welcoming Week, Sept. 13-22, 2019. Welcoming Week is a series of events in our community that brings together immigrants and those born within their countries in a spirit of unity to build strong connections across their communities and affirm the benefits of welcoming everyone.
