You want to create an inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ employees, but don’t know what you don’t know. Come hear from local LGBTQ+ leaders about how to create a work environment where everyone can thrive. It’s better for individuals; it’s better for business.

The early RSVP pricing of $20 will be available until June 7th, then regular pricing at $30 will be available until sold out. *Tickets required – Mobile confirmation accepted.

Includes light appetizers and drinks. All net proceeds will be donated to OCO.

Moderator: Jamie Nesbitt has been a Senior Patent Agent at FibroGen and Genentech, and currently holds that position at Alector. Jamie serves as a Board of Trustee member on AIDS United, a Washington, D.C. based nonprofit which provides strategic grant making, capacity building, and policy/advocacy to end the HIV epidemic and is currently President of OUT Central Oregon.

Panelists:

-Eric North is the VP of HR for First Interstate Bank’s West Division. He is responsible for strategic initiatives and management of First Interstate Bank’s growing human resources organization and expanding its corporate culture.

-Erin Rook is the Diversity Coordinator at OSU-Cascades, a Project Facilitator for Better Together’s LGBTQ+ School Success workgroup, and a founding partner and equity consultant with Allyship in Action, among other community involvements.

-Liliana Cabrera is an educator, facilitator, and trainer whose consulting experience over the last 3 years has been within Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion as it relates to Board Governance and Strategic Planning. She specializes in Community/Culturally-Specific Responsiveness: Latinx, LGBTQ+, Youth, and Parents.

-Rob Landis works at Subaru of Bend as an Online Reputation Manager & New Car Delivery Specialist. Born in Prineville, Rob was 28 years old when he saw an Anderson Cooper show about transgender individuals and realized it is actually possible to change your exterior characteristic to align closer to the gender he felt he was inside.
