Blake Blancett

Blake grew up in Montgomery, Alabama and led a semi-nomadic life in his early adulthood while earning a BS in Engineering from Olin College. In 2021, He settled down in Sisters, OR and quickly became engaged in Central Oregon’s nonprofit scene. He has worked with Sisters Cold Weather Shelter, ALSO of Central Oregon, Habitat for Humanity, Family Kitchen, and more. For fun, Blake enjoys photography, songwriting, and spending way too much time on Wikipedia.
Blake feels called to support the communities he belongs to and is excited to do so on OCO’s board. He brings to the table a background in technology and content creation, passion for issues related to housing and disability, and lived experience as a queer, genderfluid member of the LGBTQ+ community.
